Little tip for the frozen lock issue: if you get yourself a little tube of Vaseline stick the car key’s in the Vaseline and then in the car locks a few times. And “lock and unlock” the car with the key. Apply a bit of Vaseline on the outside of the locks as well (a little paint brush is ideal to apply it evenly) and push the lock in a few times. Do the same with the lock mechanism in the boot. This will keep moisture out of the lock and you should not face any trouble in the future.
