A Pressure Relief Remote Thermostat (PRRT), or sometimes just PRT, is used to reduce the temperature of the coolant cycling around the engine.

How?

PRRT Colours

The kit (including all the hoses) is PCH001190 (Rover Part Number) and has a cream 87° stat.

Cream is 87° With Hard Spring

Black is 82° With Hard Spring

Grey is 82° With light Spring


Rover Part number is PEL500150 ????

Rover part number is PEL500110 ????

Rover part number is LRPEL500110 ????


WARNING THIS INFORMATION MAY BE INCORRECT

The downside with the cream PRRT is that the stat won't open below 1500-1750 rpm due to the sping rate?
